Canadian country artist Chevy Beaulieu is building on a breakout year with the announcement of his debut album and the release of two new singles that center on heartbreak and reflection.
Beaulieu’s self-titled album is set for release July 10 through 604 Records, marking a milestone moment for the Alberta-born singer-songwriter as he continues to gain traction on national country radio and streaming platforms.
The announcement arrives alongside a double single, “Headlights & Memories” and “Any Easier,” offering listeners two perspectives on the same emotional theme. The first track leans into nostalgia, focusing on the lingering impact of a past relationship.
“I’m a sucker for a good heartbreak story, and this one is about reminiscing on the good times that will never be again,” Beaulieu said. “She left the memories but took your heart with her.”
The second track shifts to a more immediate point of view, capturing the early stages of a breakup. Written by Beaulieu, “Any Easier” reflects on late nights and the difficulty of moving on.
“It was an outlet for me after I was broken up with during the holidays,” Beaulieu said. “At the time, I didn’t think I was ever going to get over it. It definitely hurt more than a hangover. But you live, you learn and you grow.”

The dual release highlights a broader approach that has started to define Beaulieu’s sound, balancing traditional country storytelling with more personal, contemporary songwriting.
The new music follows a series of releases that helped introduce Beaulieu to a wider audience. His single “If We Want To” reached the Top 30 on Canadian country radio and was named a Trending Track by Stingray. He later released “Give A Damn” and “Look At Me,” songs that showcased both a more defiant tone and a softer, melodic side.
That momentum has continued into 2026. Beaulieu earned four Country Music Alberta nominations and won Horizon Male Artist of the Year. His recent single “She’ll Come Back Around” also entered the Billboard Canadian Country chart.
The upcoming album brings together songs written during a period of growth in both his personal life and career. While Beaulieu continues to balance music with his work as a plant operator, his recent output reflects a shift toward more lived-in storytelling drawn from real experiences.
With the July release approaching, the rollout of “Headlights & Memories” and “Any Easier” signals the direction of the project and positions Beaulieu among a growing group of emerging voices in Canadian country music.
