Seivson’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection invites us to stop, look closer and confront the undeniable: we are all marked. “TRACE” dares to transform the invisible into the tangible, giving form to the chaos of a world steeped in contradictions. It’s not merely fabric sewn together—it’s a narrative of resilience, an armor of experience and a love letter to imperfection.
The designer doesn’t just flirt with the notion of distortion; they embrace it with open arms. Wrinkles become roadmaps. Sagging, a soft surrender to the pull of time. This is fashion’s answer to a world of digital deceit—a reimagining of the scars we hide and the ones we wear proudly. It’s visceral yet delicate, like tracing your fingers over the jagged edges of a cracked mirror and discovering beauty in the breakage.
But let’s not get overly sentimental—this is still fashion, and its claws are sharp. Each piece challenges you to reckon with your own scars, to stand tall despite them, to turn “damage” into “design.” And if you think you can waltz through this collection without being moved, let me assure you: you can’t. It holds a mirror to our modern struggles and dares you to stare, unflinching. The only question left is—are you brave enough to trace the lines?
A Brutal Yet Tender Take on Resilience

There’s a quiet ferocity in this ensemble, a look that commands you to linger. The layered, twisted top encircles the torso like whispers of a Grecian chiton—perhaps one caught in a modern-day sandstorm. It’s vulnerable yet armored, delicate yet defiant. It speaks of a time when Aphrodite might have descended into a digital dystopia.
The skirt, or rather, the cascade of deconstructed fabric trailing like the remnants of a storm, feels like a direct nod to Issey Miyake’s pleats—only dragged through the grit of urban decay. Those distressed folds and slashes whisper of wear and tear, of lives lived and stories survived. The asymmetry keeps it contemporary, daring and unafraid of imperfection, much like the works of Rei Kawakubo or Rick Owens.
And the color? A dusky rose, evocative of bruised petals, blurring the line between softness and ruin. It’s the embodiment of resilience—scars worn proudly as art.
I’d pair this with slicked-back hair and unapologetically bare feet, just as shown, because this outfit doesn’t need embellishment. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s now.
The Beauty of Unraveling

This look is a masterclass in fragility as power. The top—strategically shredded and clinging to the body like a second skin—feels like a love letter to vulnerability. It’s as if the designer dissected an Edwardian blouse and stitched it back together with a punk’s irreverence. The peek-a-boo tears are raw, intentional and intimate, much like the raw canvases of Lucio Fontana—each cut a portal into something deeper.
And then there’s the skirt: a delicate yet structured cage of ivory bands and airy tulle. It feels like a nod to Victorian corsetry but liberated from its oppressive origins. It flutters with movement, balancing restraint with release—a metaphor, perhaps, for our constant push-and-pull between chaos and control in a digital age.
The sandals, adorned with floral remnants, ground this piece in a tactile, almost primitive elegance. It’s a look that whispers of decay yet revels in rebirth. This is not just clothing; it’s a statement on resilience, beauty and the quiet audacity to come undone.
Chic Shadows

This look is a masterstroke in controlled drama. The cropped trench coat, with its sculptural cape-like sleeves, feels like a direct descendant of Yohji Yamamoto’s moody minimalism—a wearable ode to mystery and intrigue. The sharp tailoring whispers of authority, while the layered, deconstructed silhouette challenges traditional notions of power dressing. It’s a uniform for the enigmatic.
The high-waisted shorts, almost hidden beneath the commanding coat, add a playful rebellion—daring to undercut the severity with just the right touch of nonchalance. This juxtaposition feels like an allegory for today’s modern woman: unafraid to merge strength with softness, structure with spontaneity.
And then there’s the scarf, knotted just so—a finishing touch that could make even the simplest of outfits feel like a statement. It’s a piece for the antiheroine, the one who prefers shadows over spotlights, intrigue over instant revelation. To wear this is to claim your space without saying a word. Utterly captivating.
Chaos, Tamed in White

This ensemble speaks volumes in silence. A symphony of pleats, folds and cascading layers, it transforms the absence of color into an unapologetic statement of control. The crisp white trench coat, slashed and tied with defiant ribbons, feels like it was borrowed from the wardrobe of a post-apocalyptic high priestess—gritty yet angelic.
Underneath, the structured shirt and skirt combination glints with subtle pleats that nod to the architectural mastery of Eileen Gray—each fold a calculated decision. The exaggerated proportions and layered detailing create an air of quiet rebellion, a stark contrast to the primness white garments typically convey.
This look’s brilliance lies in its contradictions: fragility wrapped in strength, serenity born from chaos. It’s for the modern-day renegade who marches to the beat of her own minimalist revolution. To wear this is to rewrite the rules of uniform dressing—bold, clean and utterly subversive.
Utility, but Make It Poetic

This look is a patchwork of contradictions—a love letter to the modern-day wanderer who craves both functionality and art. The bomber jacket, rendered in earthy tones and cloud-like textures, feels like an abstract homage to the rugged landscapes of Agnes Martin’s minimalist canvases. Its voluminous silhouette wraps the wearer in a cocoon of rebellion, softened by a tactile nod to comfort.
Underneath, the crisp white tee is slashed and layered with just the right amount of irreverence, stamped with cryptic text that reads like a postmodern manifesto. And the pleated, sheer skirt? It’s a delightful act of subversion, blending the utilitarian aesthetic of a tennis uniform with the fragility of tulle—Marcel Duchamp would have approved of this playfully reconstructed practicality.
The distressed cap and slip-on sandals complete the look, grounding it in an almost apocalyptic streetwear vibe. This outfit whispers, “I’m ready for the chaos, but I’ll do it in style.” It’s for the kind of woman who can turn a casual stroll into a gallery-worthy performance.
Gothic Cocoon

This look is a storm brewing in silence. The oversized coat, with its distressed baroque print, envelopes the model in a shroud of dark romance. It’s as if Tim Burton collaborated with Ann Demeulemeester to dress a heroine wandering through an abandoned cathedral. The raw edges and exaggerated proportions give it a defiant, undone allure—an armor for the emotionally untouchable.
Beneath the coat, the hoodie’s cryptic lettering adds a touch of streetwise nonchalance, grounding the ensemble in a modern, urban reality. But the real rebellion lies in the trousers—sliced, flowing and unapologetically undone. They create a mesmerizing movement, like shadows flickering across a moonlit stage, bringing a touch of theatricality to an otherwise restrained palette.
This outfit doesn’t just dress a person—it transforms them into a specter of resilience and mystery. It’s for the woman who knows her worth and chooses to remain an enigma, one step ahead of the world and always cloaked in her power.
Tactile Fortress

This look is a study in contrasts—softness battling with structure, vulnerability cocooned in armor. The oversized bomber jacket, with its quilted, almost topographical stitching, feels like a wearable landscape—part utilitarian, part futuristic sculpture. Its puffed sleeves and distressed edges whisper of a world that’s endured hardship and emerged more beautiful for it.
The layers beneath—a diaphanous white dress spilling into shredded, cascading trousers—are a nod to fragility, balancing the bulk of the jacket with an ethereal softness. The juxtaposition is genius: a mashup of survivalist gear and delicate decay, as if someone stitched together the remnants of an urban battlefield and a dreamscape.
This is not just fashion; it’s a manifesto for resilience. It’s the kind of outfit that tells a story of chaos, renewal and the beauty of finding strength in the broken. Wear it if you dare to walk the line between warrior and poet—because this is your armor for a world that doesn’t apologize.
